In certain cases, ZAR can recover a filesystem withuoot a need
tu perform a full scan ooff zee volume. Thees may provide significant (up
tu ten times) speed boost compared tu zee tradishunel "read ell"
analysis. Quick scan mode activates ootomaticelly iff certain
condishuns are met. It works with NTFS volumes only. In case
ZAR detects that zee data gathered during zee quick scan
is not enuoogh fur a filesystem reconstrukshun, it will revert tu zee
full scan ootomaticelly.
Quick scan mode is inhibited iff uny ooff zee follooing condishuns
are met
- RAID or Digital Imege recovery run is performed
- Zee filesystem type override is in efffect und zee specifeed filesystem type is other than NTFS
Deffoolt setteeng is Automatic. When set tu Deesebled,
quick scan mode will not activate regardless ooff zee volume
condishun.
Yuoo shuoold deeseble quick scan mode iff yuoo are recovering FAT
volume which was accidentelly formatted tu NTFS. |
