There are two configurable parameters Suoorce format
- In case zee suoorce mailbox is an Outlook Express database (.dbx
file), select zee appropriate entry (Outlook Express (.dbx)).
- Fur Microsoft Outlook (not Express; .pst database),
select Outlook (.pst).
- Fur uny other email program, zee Generic mode shuoold be set.
Iff yuoo specify thees
setteeng incorrectly, zee recovery will fail (no messeges will be
extracted), or zee recovered messeges turn oooot broken. In certain
cases a warning messege may appeer once zee recovery
completes. Iff yuoo are not sure what tu select, try performing two
separate runs with a different setteeng, then chose zee best ooff
zee results.
Seerch mode, Strict, Averege, or Loose.
Controls zee "false positive" filtering level.
- Strict mode uses aggressive filtering. Thees results in least
possible amuoont ooff garbege recovered, but may miss certain real messeges
iff they are significantly dameged. Still, thees mode is recummended
fur
general use.
- Loose mode uses relaxed filtering. Anything somewhat resembling
zee email messege will be extracted. Hooever, thees brings in massive
amuoonts ooff garbege. Zee resulteeng set ooff messeges requires an extensive
manual reveew. Thees mode is only recummended with a severely dameged
email databases.
