My recent attempt to recovery RAID 5 array using 3 out of 4 disks with good images failed miserably again at the same 90+% of Full Scan stage.
With this error: Error: Access Violation at 0x00406F1C (tried to write 0x05580FFC), program terminated I am aware I am going this by reading those HDD Images from external USB enlosure storage and there's heavy math involved. Would I get any better result by going back to original 3 drives - they are SMART OK. And having them on the 3 SATA ports. I had better results with that over last 3-5 years using ZAR - temperature monitoring etc. Any suggestions how to overcome the error without going to direct attached SATA? |

Are you using the latest ZAR? That error strikes me like something from the old version. Also, if there was a log file recorded,
C:\Program Files\ZAR\LogFile.txt then email it to development@z-a-recovery.com and also I'd like a description of the device you took this RAID from. A controller model, NAS model, whatver.
