ZAR recovered correct folder/file names/details but no data

After about twenty years, I felt ZAR can no longer be updated to match the modern requirements, and I decided to retire it.

ZAR is replaced by Klennet Recovery, my new general-purpose DIY data recovery software.

Installed and ran zar after I acidentally formated a NTFS drive. It was able to recover all the folders and files, but nothing will open, all are unrecongizable. The files have their appropriate refrence i.e., word,excel,.jpg , but wont open..so basically did not help. I restored to another partition then moved the data back to the drive from which they originally were on...that is the state of the drive now..if there is anything I can try please let me know.

Basically, if you moved the data back before checking it, no second run is possible, and no way of correcting. On NTFS, it is possible to get the correct folder structure but damaged file content. This is because of how NTFS works.
